Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II

The F-35 Lightning II is a single-engine, single-seat stealth fighter that Lockheed Martin builds with Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems, and it is the newest fighter in the US armed forces. It comes in three versions with the same engine family: the F-35A with conventional takeoff and landing for the Air Force, the F-35B with short takeoff and vertical landing for the Marine Corps, and the F-35C with larger folding wings for carrier decks. ICAO files all three under the type code F35. This site lists each version with its published numbers and the service that flies it.
