How to Use This List
- IATA: The two character airline code IATA assigns to each carrier. It is the code that starts a flight number, prints on your ticket, and identifies the airline in most booking tools. Sort or search by it to find a carrier when you only know the code.
- Main Line: The general customer service and reservations number. Start here for bookings, changes, cancellations, and most questions.
- Loyalty Desk: The dedicated frequent flyer program line, where the airline publishes one. These desks handle award bookings, mileage credit, and status questions, and hold times are usually shorter. A dash means the carrier routes loyalty calls through its main line.
- Elite status shortcuts: Top tier members often have a separate number printed on the back of their membership card or shown in the airline app. Those private lines are not listed here.
- Hearing or speech impaired: Most carriers support dialing 711 for TTY relay, and several publish a dedicated TTY line. Check the airline website for the current number.
- Calling from outside the US: The numbers above are US toll-free or US direct-dial. Airlines publish separate country-specific numbers on their own websites.
