EVA Air Infinity MileageLands Miles Calculator
Unofficial. See the Award Miles, Status Miles and qualifying flights an EVA Air flight earns. Rates as published by EVA Air.
Infinity MileageLands pays the distance times a percentage set by the booking class, from 0% to 175%, and lists a set number of flight sectors for each class, which this calculator counts as qualifying flights toward status. Choose your airports, connections included, and the calculator measures each flight.
How this calculator works
Choose your airports and your booking class. The calculator measures each flight's great-circle distance with the same airport data as our Great Circle Distance Calculator and multiplies it by the class percentage from EVA Air's mileage accrual table. Status Miles use the same percentages, and each class counts a set number of flight sectors (from 0.5 in Economy Basic to 2 in Business Up). Choose Round trip to count the same flights back the other way, and add the Status Miles and qualifying flights you already have to see how far you are from your next card.
What the inputs mean
- Airports: where you fly from, where you fly to, and any connections (add a connection for each extra flight). Each flight with its own flight number earns on its own.
- Booking class: the letter on your ticket. EVA Air groups the letters into fare families (Discount, Basic, Standard, Up) in each cabin, and each group earns a set percentage of the distance. Economy Discount (A) and group tickets (G) earn nothing.
- Your Infinity MileageLands card: Silver Card members earn a 15% tier bonus and Gold and Diamond Card members 25%, on EVA Air and UNI Air international flights. The tier bonus adds to Award Miles only; it does not count toward upgrades or renewals.
- Credit this flight to: you can credit the flight to United MileagePlus or Aeroplan instead of Infinity MileageLands. Choose one to see what the flight earns there, by route and booking class, with your status in that program. The full tables: United MileagePlus on EVA Airways, Aeroplan on EVA Air.
Silver, Gold and Diamond
EVA Air upgrades one card at a time, within 12 months during your current card. Silver Card needs 30,000 Status Miles and 4 or more qualifying flights, or 26 or more qualifying flights. Gold Card needs 50,000 Status Miles or 50 qualifying flights, and Diamond Card 120,000 Status Miles or 100 qualifying flights. Qualifying flights are EVA Air and UNI Air international flights; this calculator counts them with the flight sectors EVA Air lists for each class. Each card lasts two years; renewal needs 40,000 Status Miles or 42 flights (Silver), 80,000 or 80 (Gold) and 200,000 or 140 (Diamond).
Distance
EVA Air counts the IATA ticketed point mileage (TPM) between the two airports. This calculator uses the great-circle distance, so its figure can differ from your Infinity MileageLands statement by a few miles, and it rounds each flight to the nearest mile. A flight that keeps its flight number through a stop (for example Taipei to Vienna through Bangkok) is counted by EVA Air from origin to destination; enter it as one flight.
Examples
Taipei to Los Angeles is about 6,787 miles. In Business Up (C, 175%) it earns about 11,877 Award Miles, the same number of Status Miles and 2 flight sectors; a Gold Card member adds a tier bonus of about 2,969 Award Miles. Taipei to Bangkok is about 1,547 miles; in Economy Basic (S, W or V, 50%) it earns about 774 Award Miles and half a flight sector.
