Boeing F-15 Eagle

The F-15 Eagle is a twin-engine, twin-tail fighter with a high thrust-to-weight ratio and a low wing loading, which gave it outstanding acceleration and turning ability. The first F-15A flew in 1972, and the Air Force has since flown the A through D air-superiority models and the two-seat F-15E Strike Eagle, a dual-role fighter for strike missions. Boeing, which took over McDonnell Douglas, now builds the F-15EX Eagle II, a modernized version with fly-by-wire controls. This site lists the F-15E and the F-15EX. ICAO files every F-15 under the type code F15.
