Boeing F-15EX Eagle II
The F-15EX Eagle II is Boeing's modernized F-15, with digital fly-by-wire controls, an all-glass cockpit, open mission systems, an AESA radar and the EPAWSS electronic-warfare suite. Boeing says it carries more payload than any other fighter, 29,500 pounds, including up to 12 AMRAAM missiles, and that it can carry hypersonic weapons. It has a top speed of Mach 2.5, a ceiling of 50,000 feet and a service life of more than 20,000 hours. Its size matches the F-15E. ICAO files every F-15 under F15, a code that the F-15E page claims.
