Boeing 737 MAX
The 737 MAX is the newest series of the 737 family: the 737-7, 737-8, 737-8-200, 737-9 and 737-10, plus business-jet versions. Each has two CFM International LEAP-1B engines, chosen to burn less fuel and make less noise, and a split Advanced Technology winglet with one blade pointing up and one down. Boeing says the series offers more payload or range than the Next Generation models it replaced. It stays in the same airport planning category as earlier 737s, FAA design group III and ICAO code letter C.
