Boeing 737 MAX 8

The 737-8, sold as the 737 MAX 8, is the MAX counterpart of the 737-800 and is 129 ft 6 in long, the same as the older jet. Boeing's planning layout seats 178 in two classes, or 189 in a single class, and Boeing quotes a range of up to 3,500 nautical miles. It has two CFM LEAP-1B engines in place of the 737-800's CFM56, and its split winglets give a span of 117 ft 10 in. A higher-density version with an extra pair of mid-cabin exits is built as the 737-8-200.
