ATR aircraft
ATR is a European maker of turboprop airliners. Its name is short for Avions de Transport Regional, and its two types, the ATR 42 and the larger ATR 72, are twin-engine, high-wing airplanes with a T-tail and Pratt and Whitney Canada PW100-series engines, built for short regional routes and small airports. Both are certified together on one European type certificate. ATR says it has delivered more than 1,700 aircraft to about 200 operators. This site lists the current ATR 42-600 and ATR 72-600.
