Bombardier CRJ
The CRJ, short for Canadair Regional Jet, is a family of twin-engine regional jets developed from the Challenger 600-series business jet. All of them have a low swept wing, a T-tail and two General Electric CF34 engines on the rear fuselage. The 50-seat CRJ100 and CRJ200 came first, followed by the stretched CRJ700, CRJ900 and CRJ1000 with larger wings and more powerful engines. In June 2020 the type certificate passed from Bombardier to MHI RJ Aviation of Canada, and Bombardier went on building the aircraft still on order under licence.
