Boeing 717
The Boeing 717 is a small twin-jet airliner for short, busy routes, with two engines mounted on the rear fuselage and a T-tail. It shares its type certificate with the McDonnell Douglas MD-90, and that certificate notes that the designation MD-95 also applies to it, a sign of its McDonnell Douglas origins. Only one version was built, the 717-200. Boeing designed it to fly eight to twelve one-hour trips a day with quick turnarounds at the gate.
