Two copies of its handbook agree on a cruise of 130 knots at 80 percent power at 6,000 feet and a service ceiling of 17,000 feet. They give different ranges, so none is shown. The earlier R172E to R172J models have 210 hp and are not covered. No second source for its size was found.
