Boeing 757-200

The 757-200 is the original passenger version of the 757. Boeing's typical layout seats 186 in two classes, six abreast with one aisle, and the version with four doors a side is certified for up to 239. With the heaviest take-off weight option and a full typical load it can fly about 3,900 nautical miles. Airlines chose Rolls-Royce RB211-535 or Pratt & Whitney PW2037 and PW2040 engines. Many were fitted for extended operations over water, with a backup hydraulic generator and extra equipment cooling, so they can fly routes far from a diversion airport.
