Boeing 747-8 freighter

The 747-8 freighter entered revenue service in October 2011; the passenger 747-8 followed in 2012. It keeps the 747-400 freighter's nose cargo door, so outsized loads can still be driven straight in, and adds the longer fuselage, the new wing with raked tips and four GEnx-2B67 engines of the 747-8. Its largest structural payload is about 292,000 pounds, and it cruises at Mach 0.845. Unlike the passenger version it has no fuel tank in the tail. It is the same size outside as the 747-8.
