Bell UH-1Y Venom and AH-1Z Viper

The H-1 is the Marine Corps' twin-engine light helicopter family from Bell. The UH-1Y Venom, which replaced the UH-1N Huey, is a utility helicopter, and the AH-1Z Viper, which replaced the two-bladed AH-1W Super Cobra, is the attack version. Both have a new four-bladed, all-composite rotor system, upgraded engines and digital cockpits, and they share 85 percent of their parts, which cuts life-cycle cost and the logistical footprint. Each is listed here with the numbers Naval Air Systems Command publishes, because it buys them for the Marine Corps.
