Airbus A380
The A380 is Airbus's double-deck, four-engine airliner, with passenger cabins running the length of both decks. It is the largest airliner Airbus has built: 238 ft 7 in long, with a wing spanning 261 ft 8 in and a tailplane alone almost 100 feet across. EASA certified it in December 2006 with Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines and in December 2007 with Engine Alliance GP7200 engines. The A380-800 is the version airlines fly, in multi-class cabins Airbus puts at about 400 seats and up.
