Qatar Airways Privilege Club Avios Calculator
Unofficial. See the Avios a Qatar Airways flight earns in Privilege Club. Earning rates as published by Qatar Airways.
Privilege Club pays the distance flown times a percentage set by the booking class, from 25% to 300%, plus a tier bonus for Silver, Gold and Platinum members. Choose your airports, connections included, and the calculator measures each flight.
How this calculator works
Choose your airports, your booking class and your Privilege Club tier. The calculator measures each flight's great-circle distance with the same airport data as our Great Circle Distance Calculator and multiplies it by the class percentage from Qatar Airways' Avios earn chart (Qatar's own formula: Base Avios = distance flown x the percentage for your booking class). Silver, Gold and Platinum members then add the tier bonus, a share of the same distance. Choose Round trip to count the same flights back the other way.
What the inputs mean
- Airports: where you fly from, where you fly to, and any connections (add a connection for each extra flight). Each flight earns on its own.
- Booking class: the letter on your ticket. Qatar Airways groups the letters into fare families (Lite, Classic, Convenience and Comfort in Economy; Lite, Classic, Comfort and Elite in Business; Elite in First), and each earns a set percentage of the distance flown. Avios follow the fare you bought, not the cabin you flew, so an upgrade earns at the original class.
- Your Privilege Club tier: Silver earns a 25% tier bonus, Gold 75% and Platinum 100% of the distance flown, on flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways. Burgundy earns no tier bonus.
- Credit this flight to: you can credit the flight to American AAdvantage, Atmos Rewards or British Airways Club instead of Privilege Club. Choose one to see what the flight earns there, by route and booking class, with your status in that program. The full tables: American AAdvantage on Qatar Airways, Atmos Rewards on Qatar Airways, British Airways Club on Qatar Airways.
Qpoints and tier status
Privilege Club tiers are earned with Qpoints. Qatar Airways publishes the Qpoints per flight only in its own Qpoints and Avios calculator, so this calculator does not count them. From 19 December 2026 an upgrade needs 150 Qpoints in 12 months for Silver, 300 for Gold and 600 for Platinum; until 18 December 2026 the lower 135, 270 and 540 apply. At least 20% of the Qpoints, or four flights, must be on flights marketed and operated by Qatar Airways.
Distance
Qatar Airways counts the distance flown on each flight and does not say how it measures it. This calculator uses the great-circle distance, so its figure can differ from your Privilege Club statement by a few miles, and it rounds each flight to the nearest Avios.
Examples
Doha to London Heathrow is about 3,257 miles. In Business Elite (C or J, 200%) it earns about 6,514 Avios; a Gold member adds a tier bonus of about 2,443 Avios (75%). Doha to New York JFK is about 6,692 miles; in Economy Classic (O, T, Q or N, 50%) it earns about 3,346 Avios.
