Croatia Airlines Miles & More Calculator

Unofficial. See the Miles & More miles, Points and Qualifying Points a Croatia Airlines flight earns. Rates as published by Miles & More.

Croatia Airlines flights earn in Miles & More, the Lufthansa Group program, and Croatia Airlines is a Star Alliance member. By booking class, a flight within Croatia or between two European countries earns a fixed number of miles, whatever the distance, and every flight also earns Points and Qualifying Points by cabin. Miles & More prints no table for routes outside Europe. Choose your airports, connections included.

How this calculator works

Choose your airports and your booking class. The calculator looks up each flight's countries with the same airport data as our Great Circle Distance Calculator. A flight with both airports in Croatia (Zagreb to Split, for example) earns the Domestic miles for its class; a flight between Croatia and another European country, or between two other European countries, earns the Cross-Border miles. A flight that leaves Europe has no table at Miles & More and gets no result. Choose Round trip to count the same flights back the other way, and add the Points you already have this year to see how far you are from the next status.

Which tickets this covers

Miles & More says the miles for a Croatia Airlines flight depend on how you book: by the ticket price or by the booking class. Its Croatia page prints the booking-class tables, which this calculator uses. Flights booked through a Lufthansa Group channel earn by the fare instead, at least 4 miles per euro: for those, use the Lufthansa Group Miles & More calculator. Miles & More does not give miles for Croatia Airlines flights operated by Trade Air, ITA Airways or KLM.

What the inputs mean

  • Airports: where you fly from, where you fly to, and any connections (add a connection for each extra flight). Each flight earns on its own.
  • Booking class: the letter on your ticket. Business is C, D and Z and the rest Economy. I, N, R and X earn no miles and no Points.
  • Your Miles & More status: used for the progress toward the next status. Miles & More says Frequent Travellers, Senators and HON Circle Members get up to 50% more miles on Croatia Airlines, but does not publish how much on which fare, so it is not added.
  • Credit this flight to: you can credit the flight to United MileagePlus or Aeroplan instead of Miles & More. Choose one to see what the flight earns there, by route and booking class, with your status in that program. The full tables: United MileagePlus on Croatia Airlines, Aeroplan on Croatia Airlines.
  • Turkey, Cyprus, the Caucasus, Kazakhstan and Russia: these countries lie on two continents and Miles & More does not say which one it counts. The question appears when a flight touches one of them; Europe makes the flight earn the fixed miles, Asia leaves it without a table.

Miles by class

Within Croatia: 1,500 miles in C and D, 750 in Z, B and Y, 500 in A, F, H, J and M, 250 in G, K, O, Q and V, 125 in E, L, P, S, T, U and W. Between European countries: 2,000 in C and D, 1,250 in Z, B, M and Y, 750 in A, F, G, H, J, O and Q, 500 in K, S, V and W, 125 in E, L, P, T and U. Miles & More counts Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia as Europe for Points; this calculator uses the same Europe for the miles.

Points and status

Each flight segment earns Points and the same number of Qualifying Points by cabin: Economy 20, Business 40 (both for a continental flight, which every flight here is). Business also earns the same number of HON Circle Points. Points are credited only when miles are. In a calendar year, Frequent Traveller needs 650 Points and 325 Qualifying Points, Senator 2,000 Points and 1,000 Qualifying Points, and HON Circle 6,000 HON Circle Points.

Examples

Worked from the Miles & More tables (it prints no examples for Croatia Airlines). In M, Zagreb to Split earns the fixed 500 Domestic miles and 20 Points. Zagreb to Frankfurt in M earns the fixed 1,250 Cross-Border miles and 20 Points. Zagreb to Paris in C earns 2,000 miles, 40 Points, 40 Qualifying Points and 40 HON Circle Points.
