Etihad Guest Miles Calculator
Unofficial. See the Etihad Guest Miles and Tier Miles an Etihad flight earns. Rates as published by Etihad Airways.
Etihad Guest pays a share of a fixed base number for each route from Abu Dhabi, set by the cabin and fare brand, plus a tier bonus. Choose where you fly from and to on Etihad's network; a trip between two other cities connects in Abu Dhabi.
How this calculator works
Choose where you fly from and to, your cabin and fare brand, and your Etihad Guest tier. Every Etihad flight goes through Abu Dhabi (AUH), and Etihad gives each route from Abu Dhabi a fixed base number (from 1,000 to 7,000; it is not the distance flown). The calculator reads that number from the table behind Etihad's own miles calculator and works out the share your fare brand earns. A trip between two other cities, such as London to Bangkok, is two flights via Abu Dhabi, each earning on its own number. Choose Round trip to count the same flights back, and add the Tier Miles you already have to see how far you are from Silver, Gold or Platinum.
What the inputs mean
- From and To: the airports on Etihad's network, as listed in Etihad's miles calculator (Abu Dhabi and 117 cities). Either direction earns the same.
- Ticket number: the fare-brand rates apply to Etihad-marketed and operated flights on a ticket whose number starts with 607, 291 or 169. On any other ticket Etihad Guest credits Etihad flights by booking class (First F, A 275%; Business J 200%, C and D 175%, W, Z and P 130%; Economy B and Y 100%, Q, M, K and H 75%, E, U, V, L and G 50%, T 25%). Etihad does not say which distance those percentages apply to, so they are shown, not worked out.
- Cabin and fare brand: Economy Basic 5%, Value 35%, Comfort 75%, Deluxe 125%; Business Value 100%, Comfort 150%, Deluxe 250%; First Comfort 200%, Deluxe 300% of the base number, rounded to the nearest mile. Tier Miles are the same share. The Residence is not a fare brand in Etihad's tables, so it is not offered.
- Fare type: Promo seats are Etihad's award seats (from 13 November 2025). They earn no Guest Miles; Promo Comfort earns 25% and Promo Deluxe 50% of the base in Tier Miles, Promo Value none.
- Ticket issued: shown only where the rate changed. Economy Basic earned 15% on tickets issued before 18 June 2026; Business Comfort 200% and First Comfort 300% on tickets issued before 21 July 2025. Etihad states the earlier rates as miles; the calculator uses the same rate for Tier Miles.
- Your Etihad Guest tier: the tier bonus is a share of the base number, not of the miles: Silver 25%, Gold 50%, Platinum and Emerald 100%, on every paid fare brand. It adds Guest Miles only.
- Credit this flight to: you can credit the flight to American AAdvantage, Aeroplan or Flying Blue instead of Etihad Guest. Choose one to see what the flight earns there, by route and booking class, with your status in that program. The full tables: American AAdvantage on Etihad Airways, Aeroplan on Etihad Airways, Flying Blue on Etihad Airways.
Silver, Gold and Platinum
Status is counted in Tier Miles over a rolling 12 months: Silver 25,000 (at least 10,000 from flying), Gold 50,000 (20,000), Platinum 125,000 (40,000); to keep a tier, 20,000, 40,000 or 100,000 with the same from-flying minimums. From 18 March 2026 to 31 March 2027 Etihad has cut the thresholds by 25% for members who held Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum on 17 March 2026: Silver 18,750 (7,500 from flying), Gold 37,500 (15,000), Platinum 93,750 (30,000) to qualify, and 15,000, 30,000 or 75,000 to keep. Emerald needs USD 150,000 spent on Etihad flights (excluding taxes) and is not reduced.
Not included
Partner airline flights, the Etihad Guest credit cards and Miles on the Go partners, and codeshare flights operated by other airlines. Complimentary upgrades and Upgrade Rewards earn on the fare paid; Cash + Miles bookings earn Guest Miles on the cash part only. Taxes and fees earn nothing.
