Aeromexico Rewards Points Calculator
Unofficial. See the Aeromexico Rewards points and qualifying points an Aeromexico flight earns on the fare you paid. Rules as published by Aeromexico.
Aeromexico Rewards pays 8 points for each US dollar of base fare on Aeromexico flights. Silver needs 25,000 qualifying points in a calendar year, Gold 50,000, Platinum 80,000 and Titanium 100,000.
How this calculator works
Enter the base fare you paid for the whole ticket in US dollars, then pick your fare family and your Aeromexico Rewards level. The calculator multiplies the fare by 8. The result updates as you change an answer.
What the inputs mean
- Base fare: the ticket total minus taxes and fees, for flights sold and operated by Aeromexico. If you paid in Mexican pesos or another currency, enter the equivalent in US dollars.
- Fare family: Basic Economy (class V), Clasica (R, N, E, T, Q, L, H, K, U, M, B, Y), AM Plus (W) or Premier and Premier One (I, D, C, J). Every family earns the same 8 points per dollar. Only Basic Economy earns no qualifying points.
- Your level: Classic, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Titanium. It is used for the progress toward the next level, not for the earning.
- Credit this flight to: you can credit the flight to Delta SkyMiles, Flying Club or Flying Blue instead of Aeromexico Rewards. Choose one to see what the flight earns there, by route and booking class, with your status in that program. How points and qualifying points are earned
Aeromexico counts 8 Aeromexico Rewards points for each US dollar of base fare. The same 8 per dollar are qualifying points, which are counted from 1 January to 31 December each year and decide your level. Class V (Basic Economy) tickets earn points but do not count toward reaching or keeping a level. The Aeromexico fare chart lists the booking classes by fare family.
Aeromexico's levels table also lists an "additional accrual" for each level (Silver 2, Gold 3, Platinum 5, Titanium 8) without saying what it is per, so this calculator does not add it. For Titanium, at least 80,000 of the 100,000 qualifying points must come from Aeromexico or Delta flights.
Example
A Clasica ticket with a US$1,000 base fare earns 8,000 points and 8,000 qualifying points. The same fare in Basic Economy earns 8,000 points and no qualifying points.
What it does not cover
Flights operated by other airlines earn by the distance flown times a percentage for the fare paid, with a minimum of 1,000 points under 1,000 km. Co-brand cards, hotels and other partners earn separately. Aeromexico's earning page covers those.
