AASM - American Airlines Seat Maps Help

What is it?
AASM helps you view available seats on current or future American flights.  This helps you, the frequent flyer, figure out the best seat on an American flight.  You could also do the same procedure by visiting aa.com however, it will take longer if you are strictly looking for seat availability.  This tool uses publicly available HTML code from aa.com and is in no way affiliated with American Airlines, its affiliates,or subsidiaries. 

What about Expert Flyer?
ExpertFlyer.com is defintely your best choice for viewing seat availability but it there is a subscription fee.  I highly recommend Expert Flyer if you are flying other airlines besides American too.

Standard Mode
This is the default mode for DLSM and the user will fill out or select each field before clicking submit.  The values are: 

• Flight Number: American Airlines Flight Number.  Every American flight is associated with a flight number.
• Month: The month in which the flight departs.
• Day: The calendar day in which the flight departs.
• Origin: This is the city of the departing flight in three letter abbreviated format (see airport codes)
• Destination: This is the arriving city in three letter abbreviated format (see airport codes)

Expert Mode
Expert mode allows you to type out the flight information by flight number, month, day, origin, and destination.  Here is a sample query:  1518,NOV,17,MCO,ATL
