The American Miles Calculator tabulates your American AAdvantage miles, Elite Qualifying Miles, Elite Qualifying Dollars, Elite Qualifying Segments, and Bonus Miles based on your fare paid.

  1. The first two characters should be your status.
    EP (Executive Platinum), PP (Platinum Pro), PL (Platinum), GL (Gold), <blank> (General Member)
  2. The next two characters are RT for Round Trip. This will take your current list of cities and calculate your travel back to your origin airport.
  3. IATA Airport Code.  The three letter airport code - separate each by a <space>.
  4. (Optional) Fare Class.  Your fare class of service.
  5. Your fare paid (used for miles calculation)
  6. If you are flying out of a different airport use "xx"  Ex. ATL SJC xx SFO ATL 
  7. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to your heart's content :-)

  4. ATL SFO XX SJC ATL (Atlanta to San Francisco - returning San Jose to Atlanta)
  5. PP DFW SFO HNL LAX ATL (A Platinum Pro - Dallas Fort Worth, San Francisco, Honolulu, Los Angeles, and Atlanta)
  6. PL SFO Y DFW K LGW (A Platinum traveling from San Francisco to Dallas Fort Worth on a "Y" fare and Atlanta to London Gatwick on a "K" fare)
  7. PP RT DFW B SEA (A Platinum Pro traveling round-trip Dallas Fort Worth to Seattle on a "B" Fare)
